Joy, a runner, was training for a half marathon when Derell, not a runner, ran it… just to be near her! How cute is that?! They met at a fateful bonfire where matchmaker friend purposefully invited him to meet her. Its no wonder they hit it off, they both have rare and kind souls. A long run and three years later he proposed during a hike in Maui in front of a gorgeous waterfall. They exchanged the sweetest vows to one another at the Rose Garden in San Diego on May 3rd in front of their closest friends and family. In true Joy fashion every detail was perfect! A burlap runner, pretty little vintage items, hand drawn signage, and 7 of the most adorable flower girls! She wore a gorgeous lace dress from Allure Bridal topped with a dainty floral headpiece. The nights festivities happened over at the Old Venice Restaurant where the couple laughed and danced away the evening.
